01The blade with the hole through the heel · 30 pieces
Thirty forged blades in the shape the brand is known for, most with a leather sheath, in six handle colours.
The shape is the reason people arrive here by name. It sits between a chef knife and a small cleaver: tall enough at the heel that your knuckles clear the board, heavy enough at the front to fall through a squash, and pierced through the heel with a finger hole that changes how the knife is held. Reviewers say the hole is what makes it feel controlled rather than heavy, and it is the single feature most often mentioned.
Thirty pieces carry the name, spread across nine shelves: nine butcher blades, seven of the signature knives, five boning knives, six sets. Handle colours run to six: brown, black, silver, stainless, green and grey. Most of the page ships with a sheath, some of it leather. The steels named are ATS-34, plain carbon and high carbon, so all of it wants drying rather than a dishwasher.
2 blade lengths, each one a link to the card that carries it.
6 handle colours, named from our own product data rather than read off a photograph.

03Asked before ordering
What people ask us about viking knives before they pick one.
Grip. Your index finger goes through it, which puts your hand closer to the edge and stops the knife rotating in your palm when it meets resistance. People with weaker hands mention it more than anybody else in the reviews.
Neither, exactly, and that is the point of it. It has the height and weight of a small cleaver and the working edge of a chef knife, and it handles a chicken back and an onion in the same session. It is not a fine slicer.
Most of them do, and several with leather. It matters: the edge on these is thin enough that a spoon in a drawer will chip it, and a chipped edge is a stone job rather than a rod job.
